About this Resource

This resource is to support the follow up of the Split Second live educational theatre workshop delivered in your school.

  • This short e-learning module can be used from the front of the classroom as a group activity.
  • To access the course, enrol as a teacher by supplying some basic information.
  • The course lasts one hour or can be easily split into shorter bitesize modules.
  • You can return to the course at any time.
  • If some students haven’t seen Split Second, don’t worry, the content will stand alone as a resource.

The Module

This module helps students explore their responsibility as pedestrians to keep themselves and others safe by making informed and sensible decisions on the roads.

You will follow two of the characters from Split Second, Charlie and Ash, on their journeys to school. Videos will act as a stimulus for questions that follow. Pupils will be asked to discuss and feedback on the questions. Once a consensus has been reached, the teacher can select their answer.

The third character from Split Second, Alya, will act as a guide throughout the module!
